This series of pages is intended as a meeting place for SHSU Library Science students and professors. In particular, we want to share with new students some information about our program, about your expectations, our expectations, and the profession of librarianship. We hope that current and former students will contribute and help us welcome and acclimate new students to graduate studies and to librarianship. We also hope that our graduates will help us build this wiki by suggesting topics that could be a part of continuing the education they received at SHSU.

I will be taking 532 and 570 during SS II. I have checked Blackboard and there is no information about textbooks. I wonder how to find out what texts are needed? I have a vacation scheduled and would like to order texts.

To find out information about a course, you can either call our office or contact your professor by email. All faculty is eager to help all students. Regards, Mary Ann Bell

I would like to know why I can only register for 3 hours and not 6 like I would like for Summer II. I get the message need departmental approval.

I need to know where I can get the list of readings for my class this fall. I have no idea how to do any of this!! LOL
